Preparing-day
Attendance
You must advise the Graduation Office if you wish to attend your Graduation Ceremony in person or if you wish to receive your award ‘in absentia’. Either way, you must complete the  booking form, to confirm your intention. The booking form will open for 2022 ceremonies on November, 2021.
If you choose to attend, the booking form will confirm the date and time of your Ceremony and give you the opportunity to book your invitation card.
If you choose not to attend, the booking form will enable you to confirm the address details of where you would like your certificate to be sent. If you have already received your certificate, please still let us know if you do not plan to attend, so we do not continue to send you reminders about booking.
The Ceremony
Arrival Time
It is important that Graduations are in their seats 30 minutes before the ceremony is due to begin, to enable the ushers to check for absentees. Once this check has been completed, any latecomers, for whatever reason, will not be able to graduate at the ceremony.
Graduations
You should occupy the seat that corresponds to the number given to you by the Usher on the door. It is most important that you do not move from your allocated seat position even if there is a gap next to you. Failure to occupy the correct seat will mean that you are recorded as ‘absent’ and you will not be presented with your award.
